[Wise and Belle are not quite of the First Brood but they are two of the older dragons on Eorzea (they've long since abandoned their original draconic names, because they like these better). They're just a few eons younger than Vrtra, and thus are closest to their cousin. Helped, of course, by the fact that like Vrtra the two of them spend a lot of time in a humanoid avatar. They'd heard about Vrtra doing it, thought it sounded fun, and after a few mortal centuries of trying on avatars and figuring out things like "gender", they eventually settled on their avatars of choice. Belle spends most of her time in the guise of a cute Au Ra lady and Wise as a slightly customized Viera man.

(Scales. He needed scales somewhere, it felt weird being entirely flesh. His hips and thighs have a lovely pattern of scales that are easy to hide.)

They've settled in, of all places, the Dravanian forelands for a time. They heard that there was someone interesting, someone interesting enough to urge Midgardsormr to wake up for a moment. They're settled in Tailfeather, their draconic bodies tucked safely away in Anyx Trine for now. Belle's taken to being a chocobo tender while Wise has set up as a alchemist and scribe for people who want to write letters but can't.

I'm not, not really...and you're purring very loudly. I like it.

[Honestly, not a lot of people can say they're this close with a dragon. Lighter didn't even consider his title to be related at all, he just thought this was a real once in a lifetime thing.

He hoped it wouldn't need to happen again. Cause he hoped Wise would stay.]

Am I? I didn't even notice. [He did lean in though so Wise could hear it better. It was raspy and not very rhythmic, sort of like an old and well used motor. But it was his purr and it wasn't like anyone else's.]

Mmm, you are.

[Wise shifts closer, carefully resting his head on Lighter's shoulder.]

Dragons purr, you know.

Do they? I'd like to hear it from you sometime.

[And with Wise's head laying on his shoulder, he reached up to run a hand through his hair close to wear his long Viera ears were.]

I can't in this body. I'd need to make adjustments, or we'd need to be near my other body.

[He melts further with a soft sigh.]

Lighter...

Wise...

[Lighter's never sounded softer than when he said Wise's name just now. It's been a long, long while since he didn't feel the weight of the lives lost because of him or his title. It was just him and Wise right now. He spent a little while with a hand in Wise's hair, but eventually moved to cup his cheek.]

... Hey. [Again, he sounded soft. Shy, even, as he brought Wise face to face with him. He admired those pretty eyes of his for a long moment before leaning in for a kiss on the lips.]

[A kiss Wise returns, though he's a little awkward about it. Still, he clearly enjoys it as when they part he goes in for another.]

[Lighter was awkward himself, having not done this in a very long while. When Wise went in for another kiss, though, he slowly started to remember how to do this and went in for yet another. This time was lingering and deeper. He didn't know if Wise knew how to do this, but it would probably go better teaching this than swimming.]

... open your mouth a little. [And he went in for yet another kiss, this time slipping his tongue in just a little when given the opportunity.]

[He starts to question, but then Lighter does that and Wise stops wanting to question. It's amazing, this kiss, and he can't help but try to press even closer.]

[Lighter brought him closer by the arm still wrapped around his center. His grip was loose enough for Wise to settle himself however he wanted against him.]

Yeah, like that...

[Lighter only separated just enough to give direction and encouragement. Besides that he did not want to separate for anyone. And his increasingly loud purring surely helped to make the kiss better.]

Use yours too. [His tongue, that is. It was hard to communicate that between the seconds of him giving another kiss.]

[Wise only manages a hum in response, and he does try. It's awkward, though, until he gets the hang of it.]

Lighter...

[And when he does, Lighter's purring hitched and a groan took its place for a moment. Kissing in this way was clearly something humans liked. Or this human at least liked it very, very much.]

You're good at this already... I can't get enough.

Maybe we should stop, though, and wash up? Otherwise I'll get scale-rash...

[A huffed laugh.]

We don't want that happening. [A hand did go down to hover slightly over some of Wise's scales though.]

Yeah, let's get cleaned up. You don't always have to learn something overnight.

[Be it swimming or making out.]

I guess. Help me wash up?

... I can do that. Just... you'll let me know if there's somewhere you don't want me touching, right?

[Listen, he's actually incredibly nervous despite making out with Wise just now. Wise was still a dragon and he didn't want to draw that ire. That said, he did still take one of the cloths left for them and worked hesitantly to clean Wise's scales up. He was most worried about those, but he looked at Wise to gauge his expression before continuing too far.]

[Wise doesn't correct Lighter at all as he's washed up. He does shudder, however, when he starts on his hips.]

Careful, sensitive...

I'll be gentle.

[And he was, as promised, as he cleaned Wise off. He wanted to make sure there was no possibility of a rash or anything. He cleaned himself up a bit as well in the meantime, but took his time with Wise.]

You're so good at this, Lighter. Better than I can do on my own, that's for sure...

We should come here again some time, then. Just you and me.

[Whenever he had another vacation... he had a feeling that wouldn't be for a long while.]

Agreed. Of course, I'll be going with you from now on, whenever I can, so...

Really?

[He laughed a little. He didn't know where his role would take him next. Or who it would take him to next. Especially knowing what laid unfinished outside of the Dragonsong War. But.]

I tend toward places that'll be pretty rough. But I'll keep this delicate body of yours safe while your other one sticks around Anyx Trine.

It'll be a nice change of pace for me, having you around more often.

You shouldn't be alone, traveling like you do, so yes really.

[Another kiss.]

It comes with the territory. I got used to working alone for a while.

[Wise could probably guess it was before the Sons and the Scions. But honestly, even with them he often worked alone.]
